MPI EXPORT STANDARDS

 

What does phytosanitary security mean?

What does practical competency assessment mean? 

What does eligibility and traceability for export mean?

 

We help you revise and rewrite your procedures that meet the standard/s, which describe pragmatic processes you are implementing and that can be used as a standalone work instruction. Think of a registered inspector being able to read a simple work instruction that relates to the grading he/she conducts every day.

​​CODEMARK

 

Product Certification (CodeMark) is a voluntary scheme that provides an easily-understood and robust way to show that a building product or system meets the requirements of the New Zealand Building Code. CodeMark requires a business to have a Quality Product Plan based on ISO 10005:2006.

 

Most business meet this standard in every day processes.   It is a matter of documenting your processes that show they meet this standard.  A typical example is inwards good checks for quantity, quality and specifications where by checking delivery dockets against purchase orders and then signing ‘OK’ on delivery. This goes to meeting part of ISO 10005:2006. Clause 5.12.   Let us help you document your processes to meet CodeMark Certification.

 

MPI GRAIN IMPORT SYSTEMS


Also known as GIS.  Importers of grain are required to transport, store and process grain in a contained manner until grain is milled. Some seed viability testing is required.  A documented procedure is mandatory to describe these steps.

 

FEEDSAFE NZ - NZFMA CODE OF GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICE

 

FeedSafeNZ is a quality assurance accreditation programme operated by the New Zealand Feed Manufacturers Association (NZFMA). It provides stockfeed customers with greater confidence in the quality and safety of the products they are buying.  FeedSafeNZ provides a set of production standards for the manufacture of stockfeed.

 

We can help can help  determine where they are meeting the Code of Good Manufacturing Practices, and establish the platform to be able to be assessed for accreditation.

MPI TREATMENT SUPPLIER SYSTEMS


Regulated treatments include fumigation and heat treatment for import and export. These treatments must follow strict procedures that are regulated by MPI and subject to Third Party Audits.  To be a treatment supplier you must be approved by MPI.

NZ CUSTOMS SECURE EXPORTS SCHEME

 

The SES is designed to give New Zealand exporters greater certainty at international borders by minimising Customs delays and by giving exporters priority in trade recovery situations.

 

The scheme is a voluntary agreement between Customs and exporters. It is open to all regardless of what you export and the methods that you use to export.  The purpose of the scheme is to protect your exports from being tampered with, sabotaged, smuggled, or subjected to other trans-national crimes.


FSC CHAIN OF CUSTODY & EVALUATION OF FSC CONTROL WOOD

 

FSC Chain of Custody certification allows companies to label their FSC products, which in turn enables consumers to identify and choose products that support responsible forest management.

Mixing of FSC certified and non-certified products must be done under controlled procedures that meet the FSC Chain of Custody requirements.

Chain of Custody certification is essential for businesses seeking to access environmentally and socially aware markets, or to demonstrate compliance with public and private procurement policies that specify environmentally responsible materials.


ACC WORKPLACE SAFETY MANAGEMENT PRACTICES STANDARDS (Gap Analysis)

 

Workplace Safety Management Practices recognises medium to large businesses (more than 20 employees) that have implemented effective health and safety systems and practices in their workplaces. If you qualify, it adds to the many business benefits of keeping your staff safe and rewards you by reducing your ACC work cover levies (this does not apply to residual levies). It is also a great way to position your business as an exemplar of good practice in your market.
